We have just returned from a visit and was quite annoyed at the parking charges,first hour 1.50 after that 4.00, you would not be able to go for a good walk within the hour so therefore are forced to get a ticket for 4.00(a big jump) I realise that for 4.00 you can stay all day,it's the middle of winter and their isn't enough to keep you their all day.We were with members of our family including 11month old granddaughter and our 2small very well behaved dogs,on a cold windy day we thought it would be nice to go for a hot drink and something to eat,unfortunately dogs aren't allowed ,we find this strange as it very popular with dog walkers,surely they could have an area in the cafe perhaps two or three tables where dogs would be allowed.We travel a lot in the uk with our dogs and we are allowed to take them into lots of gastro pubs even cafes so can't see what the problem is,I can only assume the owners of the cafe are happy to turn away business. IT was a great experience, and i would recommend all bird lover's should do this, 10/10. Even we ended up lost with the map provided for you. The man doing the demonstration was knowledgable if a bit quiet but every person there got a bird put on their glove which took about 45 minutes to do everyone and amounted to less than a minute of handling time. I cannot recommend this experience enough - my nephew hasn't stopped talking about it since and has asked if we can go back soon!
